LIC ASSISTANT – SALARY

• Initial Basic Pay – Rs 14435 with a yearly increment of Rs 840 for 1 year
• 15275 Rs and a yearly increment of Rs 915 for the next two years
• 17105 Rs and a yearly increment of Rs 1030 for the next five years
• 22255 Rs and a yearly increment of Rs 1195 for the next 2 years
• 24645 Rs and a yearly increment of Rs 1455 for the next three years
• 29010 Rs and a yearly increment of Rs 1510 for the next two years
• 32030 Rs and a yearly increment of Rs 1610 for the next five years
• 40080 Rs (maximum Basic Pay)

• DA Rate – 29.92% (For every four points in the quarterly average of the AICPI above 6352 points, a Class III or a Class IV employee shall be paid dearness allowance at the rate of 0.08 % of Pay)
• Allowances – Assistants appointed as receiving and paying Cashiers — Rs. 3,530/- per month
• HRA – 10/8/7% of basic pay
• CCA – 3/2.5/2 % of basic pay
• Special Allowance – Rs. 2000 for Assistant

LIC ASSISTANT – EXAM PATTERN

Prelims Exam Pattern

• Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test will be conducted online.
• Qualify in Preliminary exam is essential to appear for the Mains Exam.
• Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be combined with Mains for selection
• Final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II).
• The Written Exam will contain 3 sections namely – Reasoning, English Language / Hindi Language, Quantitative Aptitude.

Mains Exam Pattern

• Main Examination will consist of Objective tests of 200 Marks.
• The Objective Test will be online. Test will have separate timing for every section.
• The Candidates are required to qualify each of the Tests.
• There will be negative marks of ¼ marks for wrong answers.
• The time duration of the Mains Exam is 2 Hours 30 Minutes.
